Oral glp therapies:
Semaglutide & Tirzepatide (ODT)
We are pleased to announce that we now offer sublingual tablet formulations as part of our treatment options.
Sublingual tablets are designed to dissolve rapidly under the tongue, allowing for direct absorption through the oral mucosa into the bloodstream. By bypassing the gastrointestinal tract and first-pass metabolism in the stomach, sublingual administration can enhance bioavailability compared to traditional oral tablets.
We provide multiple dosage strengths for each medication to ensure individualized treatment and appropriate titration based on clinical needs.
Sublingual therapy may be an excellent option for individuals who:
- Prefer to avoid injectable medications
- Travel frequently and desire a convenient administration method

Meet Dr. Gillis:
Dr. Gillis is a board-certified physician and surgeon with over 25 years of experience in gut health and gastrointestinal surgery. He has served on the Board of Trustees at Inland Hospital (until its closure in June 2025), currently sits on the State Medical Board in Augusta, ME, and holds hospital privileges at MaineGeneral and St. Mary's.
In 2023, Dr. Gillis made a life-changing decision—not just for himself, but for his community. Seeing the link between obesity and colon cancer, he set out to educate and support patients in making healthier, more informed choices.
This led to the launch of his cutting-edge weight loss clinic, the first in Central Maine to offer Semaglutide—a nationally recognized GLP-1 medication for medical weight loss.
The response? Overwhelming.
Within six months, demand was so high that we expanded into a full second floor.
